AVOW and Our OEM Partners Achieve Significant Milestones in the AppsFlyer Performance Index

Rankings are easy to skim and hard to use. A list of numbers tells you who placed, but not what it means for your app budget.

The AppsFlyer Performance Index is the holy grail of recognition in app marketing. Since 2015 it has been the industry’s standard report card on mobile media performance, and the 2026 edition is the most rigorous yet.

For AVOW and our global OEM partners, the 2026 index showcases that signal, and the footprint is bigger than last year, with 49 rankings in the index, 35 of which were top-10 finishes.

TL;DR

  • Xiaomi: all 18 of its rankings land in the top 10, with #2 in Gaming Overall for both Southeast Asia and Africa.
  • vivo: 8 of 11 rankings land in the top 10, including #2 in Gaming Overall and #2 in Non-Gaming Finance for the Indian Subcontinent.
  • OPPO: 7 of 14 rankings land in the top 10, led by #2 in Gaming Puzzle & Lifestyle for Southeast Asia.
  • Transsion and HUAWEI: Transsion holds two #10 placements in gaming. HUAWEI ranks #14 in Non-Gaming Overall for Eastern Europe.
  • AVOW: #12 in Non-Gaming Overall, Southeast Asia.

Named in the Index and Proudly an AppsFlyer Premium Partner.

AVOW is a proud AppsFlyer Premium Solutions Partner – the highest tier of partnership in the AppsFlyer ecosystem, recognising the quality of our integration, our transparency, and the results we deliver for shared clients.

AVOW has a consistent presence in the AppsFlyer Performance Index and year over year, with the index footprint of our Mobile OEM partners growing alongside ours. This signals that this sustained, specialist partnership has a compounding effect. And we wholeheartedly believe AVOW is a meaningful driver of those rankings.

Which Mobile OEM Partners Ranked Highest?

OEM (original equipment manufacturer) here means the smartphone makers whose own ad inventory AVOW connects advertisers to. Xiaomi placed the most entries and the strongest average. The table shows how each partner landed.

Xiaomi’s gaming results stand out. It also placed #3 in Gaming Overall for the Middle East and #4 in Gaming Overall for the Indian Subcontinent. vivo’s non-gaming results are just as strong. It ranks #3 in Non-Gaming Overall for the Indian Subcontinent and #4 in Media & Entertainment there.

What Should App Marketers Take From These Rankings?

Start with category fit. Gaming advertisers should look hard at Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East and Africa, where Xiaomi and vivo post their best gaming placements. Finance and fintech advertisers have a clear signal in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

Next, treat a ranking as a starting point. Creative, targeting, and ad format still decide the outcome.

Last, think in portfolios. No single OEM leads everywhere. Xiaomi dominates gaming in several regions, vivo leads in Indian non-gaming, and OPPO punches above its weight in puzzle and lifestyle. Spreading spend across OEMs matches how the rankings actually fall.

Growing Year Over Year

The trajectory across AVOW’s OEM portfolio moves in one direction. More rankings, broader geo coverage, stronger verticals – and Transsion featured for the first time. We connect premium OEM inventory to app marketers worldwide, and moments like this are a testament to what that channel delivers at scale.

These five partners represent a fraction of what AVOW offers. We work with 13 global OEM partners today – including Samsung, HONOR, and the full Transsion family of brands. The inventory, the reach and the opportunity go well beyond any single index edition.

Ready to Add OEM Advertising to Your Growth Mix?

The 2026 AppsFlyer Performance Index confirms what we have always believed: mobile OEM advertising is a proven, fraud-free pillar of mobile growth. It belongs in your strategy – not as an experiment, but as a channel that performs.

If you want to understand where it fits for your app, your market, and your objectives, we would welcome the conversation.
