We are looking for a motivated team player to join our Finance team in Berlin. This role’s focus is on providing support to the financial, accounting and controlling operations of the company and will be the ‘right hand’ of our Finance Director. The right candidate is a proactive personality, with a desire to grow and an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the billing process: invoicing, payments and cash flow management 
  • Managing account receivables and account payables
  • Preparatory bookkeeping in Datev Unternehmen Online
  • Preparing regular controlling reports
  • Supporting the payroll process
  • Managing in-house purchases
  • Supporting the Finance Director in accounting matters, including monthly closings 

Requirements

  • Strong academic record
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Accounting, Controlling or Finance
  • Eager to learn and willing to take on responsibility.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Hands-on mentality, outcome orientation
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
